Wagha Atari Border Ceremony 2021: There will be no Beating Retreat ceremony at Wagah-Attari border this Republic Day on January 26 due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions, Border Security Force (BSF) sources said on Monday.

Retreat Ceremony 2021

BSF personnel conduct the retreat ceremony at the Wagah-Attari border every year on January 26. There will be no Beating Retreat ceremony this year due to the coronavirus.

Wagha Border Ceremony 2021

This retreat ceremony started in 1959 at Joint Check Post (JCP) at the Wagah-Attari border. “No joint or coordinated parade will be conducted this year on Attari border on Republic Day,” sources said.
